Wayne Passey October 30, 1940 - August 26, 2025 Wayne passed away at Laural Place Hospice on August 26,2025. He was born on October 30, 1940 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is survived by his wife Anne of Tulameen BC, His Daughters Marie Shepherd, Lisa Mysynuk (Rick), Sons Dennis and Mel. Grand daughters, Richelle Mysynuk, Sarah Mysynuk(Breese) (Mitchel), Emily Williams (Michael) and Olivia Moniz( Randy) Great Grandchildren Theodore Williams, Lily Williams and Xena Moniz. Wayne Left the RCMP in1972 to help wife Anne with her dog grooming business Tiffany's Doggie Salon. He loved to travel, hike, snowmobile, ATV and all things outdoors. That being what prompted him to move to Tulameen. He loved it here, He built his home , using local talent and local wood etc. After he was finished with that project he spent his time looking for things that he could do to improve the community he loved. He built shelves for the Library, painted the kid's play equipment at the schoolyard, Cleaned the cemetery up and built a place to contemplate, and moving the original schoolhouse (one log at a time) to its present location, setting it up as a museum. Over half of Wayne's married life was spent living in Tulameen, he loved his friends and neighbours. But after turning 80 (with many serious health concerns, he felt that Tulameen winters were not safe anymore (especially with the downsizing of health care in Princeton) so he helped son-in-law Rick build a suite over their house in Surrey where they could spend the winters. Unfortunately, Wayne was a bit of a hoarder, not so unfortunate for Tulameenies however, they would always come to Wayne's house if they needed something, if he didn't have it(or 6 of it) then Bob Hughes would. They always joked, (My junk is your junk) Please feel free, before you head to Princeton, come on over and see if he did indeed have what you needed. There will be a Memorial at the Community Club for Wayne in the Spring and the family hopes you will come and share a memory.

Nancy Charlotte Stevenson (nee Howitt) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy Charlotte Stevenson (née Howitt), age 63, on September 13, 2025, in Kelowna, British Columbia. Nancy was a devoted mother to her two sons, Ryan Sheffer and Dylan Sheffer, and a cherished grandmother to her beloved grandson, Riker Sheffer. She is also survived by her brothers Bruce Howitt and Jeff Howitt, and her sister Carrie Dewhurst. Nancy had a deep love for her home in West Kelowna and the beautiful Okanagan Valley. She found great joy in crafting and sewing, creating beautiful handmade pieces that reflected her artistic spirit and attention to detail. Nancy also loved cooking, delighting in preparing meals that brought her family together around the table. Above all, Nancy was a loving and caring soul who always wanted to help wherever she could. Family was everything to Nancy, and she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Riker, whom she loved more than anything in the world. Nancy had so many wonderful plans and adventures she looked forward to sharing with him, always excited about the memories they would create together. Nancy will be remembered for her generous heart, her loving nature, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Bill Reichert March 19, 1965 August 1, 2025 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William Joseph Reichert on August 1, 2025 at the age of 60 years. Bill (Harv) lived life to the fullest, had a never ending sense of humor and a laugh we will all remember. He was a strong but silent support in the community, past president and active member of the Timberline Cruisers Snowmobile Club, and an avid racer. He loved snowmobile and car racing but his true passion was in boat racing with the Fat Buddy Racing crew. If you needed a hand, firewood, loan of a truck or trailer, Bill was always there for anyone in need. Most importantly Bill believed in family and friends, spending many hours enjoying time with them, especially with his girls, Candace, Taydra, and Shambree. Bill has touched many people in his home communities and far beyond, he will be missed but his love of life will continue in all that knew him. Barry Brewer May 22, 1951 ~ July 1, 2023 (age 72) We are shocked and saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Barry Brewer on July 1, 2023, in Tulameen, BC. Barry had a passion for life, love, and family with a deep connection to Tulameen. His compelling presence, along with his huge smile and laugh, endeared him quickly to those he met, and resulted in many lifelong friendships. He was accomplished in his chosen sports, and passed doing what he loved most, riding a dirt bike. Mentor, coach, confidante, adventurer, athlete, instigator, and amazing soul, Barry inspired others with high expectations for himself and those fortunate to follow. Ride in Peace. He is survived by Bonnie Lumley, his spouse, and his family, Bernie (Marjorie) Brewer, Elaine (Tom) McGrath, Danny (Jean) Brewer, Loretta (Neil) McDiarmid, Carolann Brewer, Teresa (Ron) Therien, Dave (Karen) Brewer, and Ian Brewer as well as numerous extended family and friends. Barry was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Leona Brewer, and his brother, Neil Brewer. A Celebration of Barry’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tulameen Arena. William (Bill) Montague Sanderson, 97 of Tulameen, BC passed away on April 9, 2021 at the Princeton General Hospital. Bill was born on December 15, 1923 in Hendon, England. Bill served in Her Majesty’s Royal Navy aboard the HMS Antelope in WWII as a gunner. After the War he met his beautiful bride, Doreen Mary Dearling, and in 1957 along with their two sons, Keith and David, they immigrated to Canada. Soon to follow were two daughters, Avril and Cheryl. Bill was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, and recently became a great great grandfather to Huxley William Sanderson, born on April 7, 2021. He loved soccer and his favorite team was Watford F.C. and thanks to the VCR and the PVR, he never missed a game. He spent his free time watching various British TV shows and listening to music. Every year he made sure that everyone in his family celebrated their birthday, anniversary and Christmas with a card. He is survived by Keith Sanderson and family, David Sanderson and family, Avril Dieno and family and Cheryl Ryan and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doreen Sanderson in 2008.
