IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE FOR SNOWMOBILES

PLEASE DO NOT RIDE SNOWMOBILES ON THE LOADSTONE / TULAMEEN MAIN LOGGING ROAD

This road is an active logging road, with a grader operating nightly for extended hours. When snowmobiles ride on freshly plowed snow, it packs the surface , making it extremely difficult for the grader to do its job properly. This leads to poor road conditions and increased slipperiness, creating serious safety risks for loaded logging trucks travelling both up and down the road.

Additionally, when snowmobiles or vehicles are on the road without calling their location, the risk of a serious incident increases significantly. Logging trucks are often fully loaded, travelling at speed , and have limited ability to stop or maneuver.

For everyone’s safety:

• Do NOT ride on the plowed road

• Trailer your sleds (to loadstone warming trailer for example) or access designated riding zones

• Respect active industrial traffic and road maintenance crews- if you know you know… !!!use your VHF and call your Kms!!
