There will be a Celebration of Life for Lily Ford on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023.
This will be a casual get-together for family and friends between 10 am and 2 pm at the Tulameen Community Club Hall.
There will be no formal service as my Mom would have hated that.
Please bring along photos and memories to share in smaller groups or as a splendid gesture to anyone within earshot. And if you’re shy, there will be memory cards available to fill out.
At approximately 11 am, there will be a gathering at the Ford bench on the Rails for Trails along the lake to place a plaque for Miss Lily. This is approximately a 30-minute walk, so please consider that and feel free to stay in the hall with me.
At approximately 1 pm, a memorial stone will be placed at the Tulameen Cemetary (God’s Little Acre).
Feel free to come to the hall any time between 10 and 2. Stay for as little or as long as you’d like, or go to one of the gatherings at 11 am or 1 pm, then head to the hall for snacks, nonalcoholic beverages, and lots and lots of memories.
